Mozambique & Sierra Leone WiMAX network deployment
MULTINET is pleased to announce its intention to deploy in the current year its NGN network, based upon the WiMAX technology, in Sierra Leone and Mozambique.
It eventually will drive further convergence of voice, data and video/TV, enabling the provision of triple play services that will ultimately involve the country’s already competitive broadcasting sector.
There have been growing demands in the above countries for broadband wireless applications, such as audio and video streaming, near real-time downloading services, broadband Internet access services, and Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. On the other hand, mobile devices, such as smart phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and laptops, are all quite ready to embrace such services. While all these developments are almost ready to support broadband services, the wireless access bandwidth has become a bottleneck.
The WiMAX technology is one of the potential solutions to respond to this demand. MULTINET is keen to propose this solution to its clients at the competitive price.
MULTINET's technical solution has the following major benefits:
1. Low Cost and Fast Networking
2. Reduced Operational Cost
3. Simple Upgrade
4. High Reliability
